Hey Emmanuel,
Sorry for the headaches you are having. We will work with you to get through it - be assured. Can you please try the following to get the controller issues out of the picture:
1. Turn on your console
2. Start the spawn player and login to the website
3. Select watch rather than play
4. Use your controller directly to play your console
5. See if the video stream comes up in the player and stay up.
Let us know how that goes and if it works well then we will focus on the controller problems explicitly. -
-
Emmanuel,
I am sorry to hear that your issues are still occurring. In order to proceed further, can you give us the following:
- Router Model
- Basic Topography of Network
- Any special additional information concerning your network
- Windows Version
- Any software firewalls, and any hardware firewalls listed
After we have this information we can review your setup further and assist with getting the device to run within your setup.
Thanks again for all your patience, we look forward to your reply.

Emmanuel,
Also, how far into the launch of the program are you getting (ie., does it launch and play for a bit, and then generate the error, does the application fail to launch altogether, etc.).
The better the description of your issue, the easier it is for us to disseminate your information, decide a troubleshooting pathway, and implement it.
Thanks again for all your patience, we look forward to your reply.

I closed the application and restarted it. Selected Watch again.
The connection to the node was lost after about 1 minutes.

Emmanuel,
After receiving the system messages, I have some further ideas regarding what we can do. Let's do the following:
First off, enjoy your trip (even if it is a business trip) :)
Second, I'll be setting up some tweaks and troubleshooting steps for you for when you get back.
Go ahead and email us at support@spawnlabs.com when you get back. This will send me a quick alert that you are back in touch with us, and I can handle your inquiry directly, quickly, and efficiently.
If you loose the email, just post on this forum again and I'll get back to you when the system feeds us the message you have posted (within business hours, 8am-5pm CST)
Thanks again for all the information you have provided, and enjoy your trip!
All the best,
~Spawn Labs Support Team -

Dear Jonathan
I have tried to send an email to the above address, but the email is coming back as undelivered from my google account.
I have tried from my business account and it seem to have gone through.
Thanks

Emmanuel,
Thanks for this update, I'll look into that issue regarding not being able to email us directly through a normal google account.
We can continue working through the other channel we are currently using.

Agreed. Frustrated. More errors than play time.

-
I am sorry to hear that, what errors are you getting?
Please let me know so we can look at your specific issue. If you have a longer log file, email it to us at support@spawnlabs.com.com so we can take a look at your issue.

Justin,
I am pasting your inquiry below for ease of reference:
When I start up the spawn player, I'm getting many errors now. before I was getting just the controller node issue.
Now I get Play/Watch request rejected by server, 'msg=No Resources'
or "Stale node data!" or something like that. Where is the log information stored?
I apologize for the confusion above. You only need to email us the log files. As you were posting on this inquiry, I had assumed you had generated the same type of windows log that the above user did.
While this type of log tells us a lot of information, it is mainly useful for Microsoft. I want you to generate a System Messages and a Performance Monitor log for me.
Email the above files to me. If you cannot generate the files for me, let me know what error you are getting (verbatim) that is stopping you from generating the files. If possible, take a screen shot of the error to be provided to us.
The error above sounds like we need to do an hard reset of the HD-720, and possibly update your software.
To confirm the software version you are running, do the following:
- Open the Spawn Player software.
- Right-click the Spawn Player system tray icon.
- Choose Configure Gamepad.
- Click the About menu.
- Choose About from the menu.
This will give you the current version of the software you are running. Also let me know that in your reply.

As an update, we were able to get justinrobertthomsens' Gamecube to be recognized after running the Setup Wizard again and confirming that the cables selected for the component section matched what is being used with the console.
If you experience a similar issue, please Re-run the Setup Wizard and make sure the cable used matches the component section (composite for composite, etc.). If you need assistance with a similar issue, please post a new topic on our Community Forums.
All the best,
~The Spawn Labs Support Team -
